Welcome to Solar Bondi

Waverley Council has partnered with Green Solar Group to bring solar power to the Waverley local government area.
As part of this project, solar power panels are being installed by Green Solar Group on Bondi Pavilion and Bondi Surf Bathers’ Life Saving Club in the heritage-listed iconic Bondi Beach.

Combined, over their lifetime these solar power systems will:

  • generate over 160,000 kWh of electricity free from the sun
  • save close to $70,000 on energy bills
  • help reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 160 tonnes carbon dioxide
